I stumbled upon Weston Lakes Animal Hospital because my 6 year old Yorkie, Bentley, developed an aggressive growth in his gums (all within less than a week) along with excessive bleeding and he was not responding to the treatment plan prescribed by another Vet in Fort Lauderdale. We called Weston Lakes this past Saturday for a second opinion and they were able to see him the same day and provided us with a more comprehensive analysis of the possible issues and treatment plans. We decided to go ahead with surgery to investigate/remove the growth and obtain biopsies to see what is really going on. They scheduled the surgery for the next day (Sunday) and took the initial X-rays right on the spot. The next day (Sunday) they followed up with us while he was in Surgery and answered every question we had. Dr. Valdez and her team (including Hector) were incredible and I truly appreciate the attention and care they gave Bentley and their flexibility in scheduling ❤️.
